2 Day Practice Expedition

The practice Bronze DofE expedition takes place over two days, including an overnight stay at a local UK campsite.

This is a safe and supportive environment for beginners to consolidate navigation skills and teamwork. Our experienced supervisors ensure each group has the confidence, structure, and clear guidance to succeed in the outdoors. Pringle's Peaks' staff always run expeditions at a minimum 1:12 ratio, with at least two supervisors present at all times.

2 Day Assessed Expedition

Students then complete a two-day, one-night qualifying expedition in a similar environment. Campsite fees are included, making planning easier for both schools and families.

Throughout, we remain on hand to help with logistics, advice, and any last-minute questions. The focus is on building young people's independence and self-reliance, in line with all DofE requirements.
