The start of the DofE journey. We will help you design and implement your expedition, organise the expedition area, provide the equipment you need, help guide you through the logistics of the expeditions and any other bits and pieces that crop up to make sure that your expedition runs as smoothly as possible.
Our Bronze programme consists of:
1 Day training (School based):
During this day we will cover; basic navigation (more is covered on the practise expedition), Route planning, Meal planning – including sample menus, cooking with a Trangia stove, Basic first aid and emergency procedures, the 20 conditions, The countryside code, Group work with Aims and objectives, Tent pitching, what kit to bring and rucksack packing.
2 day practise expedition:
A two day expedition in a similar environment to their assessed expedition, including an overnight stay in a campsite.
2 day assessed expedition:
A two day and one night assessed expedition.
Campsite fees are included in the price.
Staff: on every expedition there will always be two supervisors at all times. In addition to that we work off a minimum of 1:12 ratio for all of our expeditions.

- Maps and compasses
- Trangia stoves and gas
What’s not included: Transport to and from the start points, this can either be arranged by the school or left to the parents to organise. We also do not supply personal equipment outlined in the DofE kit list, however if there are students who are struggling then please get in contact as we may be able to help.
